Barrie ("Brace" on the board) had an accident on Bear Mountain yesterday, and is in hospital. I don't know exactly what happened, or the full extent of the injuries. I do know that it is a spinal injury of some sort.
I do know that he must be in fairly good spirits, though, because when his wife suggested he take up XC instead, he said "no way!".
