Found out that my rear wheel is f*cked - wanted to start bitching, remembered my old road bike, set up my winter set up in the living room. Awesome.

Ground frozen solid, lots of snow in the last few weeks…no real riding, BUT have done some easy spinning in front of the screen in the living room. Better than not pedalling at all.

after years of piece work and "making hay", stat holidays are still novel, so I will not bitch about the rain and the shit ski season. dirt is the new snow.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

Managed to get in a Tuesday mid-day ride. No one else in sight, it was pretty good. The North Shore is awesome, we're lucky to have it [HTML_REMOVED] lucky to live here.

I rode my mountain bike tonight with a bunch of my neighborhood bros. Full mooner, clear and dry. No watchers to be seen, nobody telling me I'm riding the wrong direction and importantly, nobody bitching.

Guess what? I get to wake up in 6hrs and ride again. And then again 10hrs after that. And plans are to go again 12hrs after that. There's lots of things that chap my @$$ but riding more is the focus. Right?

Watchers. They see you but you don't see them.

I'll be watching you in your sleep tonight…

It seemed so weird at Christmas riding Severed and Burnaby Mountain being so dry.

Yup. Too many horses on the trail.

did a little digging in the morning and a solo trail ride in the afternoon. hardly saw any one all day. single speeds are dumb and I have too much air in my tires and too many dents in my rear rim. bikes are fun though. RMBL

Moto trails at vedder last week were all time tacky and trials yesterday was almost dusty in spots.

all that with 4 days of family skiing at Sunpeaks and Sunshine in the middle.

Ride more bitch less. I agree. After a conversation yesterday trail side my new mantra is.

Ride what you like. Ride for fun. Ride all the time.

Im a gonna to go ride my bike like I did before I gave a flyin. Smooth trails, rough trails, legal trails and illegal trails, are all F*cking amazing right now EVERYWHERE. Don't let the sunshine fool you it's still March.

I'll leave the bitching and the politic'ing to the Feds.
