my god, pb is sucking mtb luminaries into it's gaping maw from all directions. not a huge fan of editorial rc, but there no doubting his legacy. seems the rosy hued site is becoming a mtb powerhouse.

They are becoming the powerhouse. If they can start delivery content beyond cut-n-paste press releases they will become the source for all non print.

PB riders kill it on everything from local and world-class DH tracks, sick big mountain lines, North Shore skinnies, bike park slaying, DJ and street to the most epic trail sorties imaginable.

there's still skinnies on the North Shore?

colour me impressed though pinkbike.

From the famous 10 Feet of Pinkbike Huck-o-Meter to the former editor of Mountainbike Action Magazine….first serving the groms, now bend on controling the spandex of xc shredding.

I think NSMB should hire Zapata Espinosa in response.

I heard somewhere that Pinkbike is close to being in the top 10,000 websites in the world by visitor numbers. That's a big deal, even outside the bike industry. I think that they are well above and beyond cut and paste press releases only. They do a damn fine website in my opinion. There are even some grownups on there these days if you look hard enough.

NSMB is still closest to my heart, but Pinkbike is a bigger business than NSMB.

DUnno, but I could imagine that if you are a truly shave-my-legs-everyday kind of hardcore xc nerd…..why not? Just another publication with a different perspective for a certain user group.

Have you read some of the latest letters to the ed in BIKE? Too many hucking and shredding and not enough xc images.
