Reliable mechanic - east north shore

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a go-to mechanic on the north shore for mountain and road. My wife and I have 5 bikes to maintain - we do minor work ourselves, but want someone that we can trust for major service.

I've had decent experience with Steed, but the shop is a bit inconvenient (I live near Seymour) and the price was pretty steep.

Can anyone vouch for a solid mechanic on the east side of the shore? ideally east of Lonsdale.

Thanks!

Dave is a solid choice. An alternative if you need weekend service would be the guys at Lynn Valley Bikes.

What's a major service?? Besides maybe suspension, a bike is pretty simple to maintain.

I have had really good experience with one of the mechanics at Cove - I think he is the head mechanic? He is a big ?Hawaiian dude?

Suspension work, bearings, anything that requires more than my basic toolkit. I’m generally not amazing at bike maintenance so half the time I bring my bike into a shop after I’ve tinkered with it already.

Dave at Bicycle Hub is the man.  He has the most reasonable rates on the Shore as well.

I'll throw in Jeff Bryson at Wheelthing to the list, if you are just looking for a straight up boss mechanic (not a store).

Believe that you're talking about Jordan, and can confirm he is a great mechanic and a solid dude.  Remembers me/my bike when I bring it in for service and he always does a good job/makes sure I get a fair deal
