ive known thius for a while my mate rang me up i had to check the schedual @ redbulride.com beacsue i didnt think it was actuall compuition… it was so the results are
third….. nathan rennie… :aussie:
second.john waddell…… :aussie:
first……SAM HILL…………:aussie:

fuck yeah and i cant believe ive acutlally ridden with first place getter a bit nad ive ridden with waddell as well ah fuck its sick news…

dunno about the rest but he mentioned that steve peat cedric gracia and richie schley were all high finishers as well…

shit yeah! hey i got 2 out of the 3 as well. check the other thread. not bad.

I've never even heard of sam hill before i looked on the redbull ride athletes list. heh way to go though!

btw sam hill is a 17 yr old from perth western australia and he won the world u/19 championshiops if you hadnt heard of him before hes also got an interview in the nov/;dec issue of dirt…

duno if he actually rides for intense they just help him out a bit with bikes and stuff…
that intesse is the sickest smoothest bike ever… its fast as all fuckl and so nice… i rode it down the bottom of the downhill i reon i went faster than i ever have in my life on a bike and i was jus cruisng

thats a pretty good effort on our (Australia's) part. How did your mate know the results? Was he a volunteer or something at the event?

i though they would have called the redbull ride off due to bushfires?
thredbo and mt.beaty us up in flames i dont know the extent of the damage? damn i was gonna to thredbo/jindabyne over the holidays but didnt go cause of the fires:mad: oh well shit happens

i was lucky, went to Thredbo from 2nd-7th January. Had the best weather and the best time. Just sucks that we are having all these fires.

yeah i was gonna go down like this week, but that wasnt gonna happen. i hope the place doesnt get roasted cause that dh course rules

ah nice what are the trails like in thredbo? you went there on my birthday:D

i dunno how my mate bazza knew the results i think he got told from one of his mates that was a marshall or volunteer at the event lol its been passed around a bit…

the called off part did you see how smokey it was there in the second photo on the front page becasue of the surrounding fires
