Pulled a tick out of my arm this eve after doing trail work this aft. I think I got it pretty quickly. It was in my hoodie and climbed up my sleeve
Check yourself and your pets and probably a good idea to change clothes after being in an area at risk.

My dog picked up two ticks last year, one on the shore and the other in Squamish. Those little blood sucking hitchikers are out there looking to hop on the next passer by!
Which mountain was this? Pulled one out of our dog last month and one was crawling on my wife too. This was below Whyte Lake.
Apparently, one opossum can eat as many as 5,000 ticks in one year & destroys 90% of all ticks it comes across.
It's funny that two weeks ago we were worried about catching a tick on the trail.
