indeed. goodbye summer, it was a good one. thankfully ski season is almost here.

ever thought of hooking up little man with some lights? when the forest is wet and misty and dark, it's definitely a spooky but cool experience. and lately it's been cold. but to still be able to get in the quick after school/work lap with the little dude, it's worth it.

My 3yo lovin' his 14" Spawn Furi

A fun video I put together of his first few months of riding… a mix of urban and trails:

Awesome video, great riding.

You probably already know about NS BMX at Inter River. But just in case you don't, the club racing season starts again in April, for kids as young as 3. It's fun. Worth checking out.

No Pictures…BUT today was a GREAT DAY for us.

Our son rode his "pedally-bike" for the first time, all alone. Only needed help when getting it rolling. So awesome, a few turns and lots of pedalling all the while making a Braaaap sound, finished the day with Digger's Lights Out after dinner.

So we went to Are, Sweden, this summer for some riding and hiking, and thought some of you might appreciate the images.

Mobile phone pictures since my current mobile has a better camera than my old digital one.

But riding was more fun, at least for our son.

Went to a public DJ spot and he rode tables for the very first time, as did my wife. Now both want to have a jump spot in the garden. Nice.

Him and me went up the mountain (first half) and he rode the easiest trail there is.

Smooth berms, a few rollers and not too step. He had a blast but was exhausted at the bottom, he did not even noticed his mother shooting a little vid of him coming down the slopes.

The other riders were helpful and friendly, no attitude at all. Slowed down or even stopped. Really nice as compared to what I have experienced at home on the trails or in other bike parks.

He wanted to ride all the time, before breakfat, after lunch and before and after dinner - unstoppable.

The last image is from a local playground in Aachen, he just wanted to pedal through that little depression all day long.

Other kids his age and from his kindergarten are mad about football/soccer, he is mad about mountainbiking and running through the forest.

My 6 year old brought home a project from school: “Peace is”. It was a book full of what grade 2 students find peaceful. There was a lot of “Peace is resting on my couch”, “Peace is reading my favorite book”, “Peace is sitting by a fire”, etc. My son’s entry is below. He’s a good guy, but he’s active, and ends up spending a lot of time with the principal. So glad we live in a place where he can find his peace.

Not biking related, but skipping school for a mountain shred session is something most mountain bikers would agree with-

First ever gopro edit. Made some noob film/edit mistakes, wrong mode, low light, etc, maybe too much slow mo, but hopefully it doesn't suck. Cheers.
