I don't have kids but I sure get a kick out of all your little rippers! I sure wish that I had started riding at that age with all the riding options available today. Screw dance lessons - I would have been BMX racing or something. It seems my nephew has the bike bug - likes to take the run bike on log rides - so cool!
Post yer rippers!
My oldest (the only little girl in the pic, 3rd from left) won her run bike class this weekend at the BMX track. First Trophy Ever!

just picked up a 16" hotrock. nice bikes; aluminum frame [HTML_REMOVED] fork is surprisingly light compared to most pig iron kids bikes. aheadset (rather than the quill stem most come with) allowed me to swap the high bmx bar for some more appropriately sized bits i had kicking around (is it wrong to run a carbon bar on a kids bike?).
Not my ripper, but truly inspirational ;)
Big pic of my little ripper is big!

my little guy rode from alpha lake to the village and back on father's day. he was sketchy on the first few sustained downhills but got the hang of riding his coaster brake pretty quick and letting up when he felt comfortable with the slope - to the point that i was filming him from behind heading down to wayside park on the valley trail, when he suddenly lost the brakes and disappeared out of the frame. i looked up in time to see him eat $hit on the last corner and bounce head first off the trail. rushed down and picked him up, curled up and bawling… not a scratch, though his knee pads were a bit scuffed and he's definitely due for a new helmet ;)

fisherman's trail is a nice trail ride for the wee rippers. a bunch of cool side paths to explore. last weekend i took my little dude down there with a head lamp to check out the tunnel past twin bridges. woo, kinda dark and spooky in there.

When I started this thread, my little guy was just a few months old. He just turned 3 and entered his first bike race (Kidsworx).
Awesome time, would recommend it to any Dads (or Moms) on the board:
