Long time lurker, first time poster here! :P
I had a great ride on Fromme today, did 7th and then Pipeline. I finally got the nerve to ride the teeter on Pipeline today and I guess that made me a little overconfident. I made a not so graceful landing after the small rocky drop after you climb up and go down again after the teeter. I landed face first but my Giro Remedy saved the day. I did suffer a lot of road rash on my right arm (will now be purchasing arm and elbow armour!!! :D). I think the Remedy really saved my ass because I did slide on my head for a bit but felt nothing! After composing myself I was able to ride out and down to Lonsdale Quay.
The point of this: I want to give huge thanks again to the guy who helped me bandage my arm at the junction of Pipeline and BP. I know it's a long shot whether you're on NSMB.
Also, if anyone finds the rear vent cover of a Giro Remedy near a log by the side of Pipeline down the hill by that drop, let me know. :D I might want to see if I can glue it back on. The helmet appears to be structurally sound just some scratches.
