The announcer (Darren Butler?) sure likes to say athleticism, and doesn't know what a turndown is.

I Too was very disappointed at the lack of local Bike shop participation and lack of reperesentation from the bike manufactures. Very lttle variety of swag and stuf for slale etc.

Still living & breathing

I'd bet the cost of the booth doesn't justify the business they'd receive because of it.

I'll go with that one. I spoke to the Overtime guys about that last year, they said it was pretty rich to get a booth.

Found it interesting that Norco could afford to park both the truck and trailer in the expo area….

Demo area was a good idea, but I wish they cut the posts on the Specialized's.

What a freaking joke the was. Being new to Vancouver I expected way more.
Van has a huge riding community and tons of local manufactures. It has to be the largest bike market in Canada. I expected to see all the manufactures with booths full of gear. Norco was the only one. WTF. Is there an actual "Bike Show" at another time where all the manufactures and LBS go all out? The bloody Toronoto show is bigger and thar ain't saying much. I want my ten dollars back.
