Once again Dan at On Top is sponsoring the TD, and who doesn't love his days? Come show your love for Lower Crippler on Fromme this time.
On Top TRAILDAY!!! September 7th
i missed the last 5 or so due to being out of the country….. i think i need a karma bump. i'll be going to this one.
This will mark pretty much the first trail day Sunday this year I'm not working or out of town. Which is very interesting considering I rarely work Sundays. I will be going, and weather permitting so will JLS and the little girl :)
Lets just hope it doesn't rain.

Bump for On Top TD goodness! :)
Lower Crippler is a sweet line - and it certainly needs some work. Excellent choice!
I will be happy to come lend a hand, unfortunately, I just moved back to Van so I don't have any tools to be of service with. Think that it is still worth going to lend a hand?
NSMBA will supply tools, bring some sturdy boots, good gloves and a big smile!!!
Rumor has a local celeb might be flipping burgers for everybody!!
:canada:
the only tools you need to bring are your hands and feet!
We provide tools and guidance and On Top provides lunch!
Actually lower crippler hasn't changed much in the last few years. Its holding up well! Other areas on Fromme that could use more work would be the Griffen Switchbacks and that area. If the NSMBA could work they're buffing magic in the Griffen area it would be a HUGE bonus to the riding community!
That and getting the trail head signs on Pipeline and Upper Oil Can re-attached. I've mentioned it to the Trail director and crew so I'm sure they have something planned to get those fixed up.
Looking to ride the shore but don't know where to go?

I second this suggestion! Griffen / King of the Shore could really use some drainage / braid decommissioning work.

I did a little drainage clearing on the Griffen Switchbacks on Sunday. I didn't have a shovel, so it will only be temporary as some proper ditches need to be made. I did clear out the last drain before the flats at the bottom, there was almost a hundred branches stuck in the area, it was like somebody was trying to plug the drain.
I re-blocked the braid at the entrance to Pink Starfish again, if somebody is up there with some spikes, it would be great if they could spike some of it together. Maybe an entrance sign is in order, saying "if you can't ride this entrance stunt, then you shouldn't be riding this trail."
I am away this weekend, so I won't see you at the Trail Day.
Have fun,
Tonestar

Give 'er…
Neither of those things are hard to do, just get in there and bang it off.

Do I need any NSMBA approval or can I just head in there when I have time and have at her?
