like really old. saw this on fb and figure the gate is just before the exit of circus as that big rock on the right of the road just past the gate looks an awful lot like the circus exit rock. it's the only rock like that that i can think of that is on teh right side of the road going up.

if you have any other cool old pics of the shore to share post em up here!

ps - so much for the pristine forested slopes of mt fromme.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Somebody put this up on Reddit yesterday (not sure why I looked at that God awful website but the picture is neat)

Got this from my grandparents. I used to stare at it as a kid so they gave it to me when it was time to move into assisted living. If you look close you can see that all around False creek and the sails at Canada Place are not actually there yet.

If you look closely, you can see Monica Craver's house nestled in the forest. Apart of the forest, if you will.

I wonder how the frogs liked being burned alive? I think that was a little harder on them little fellows than a few MTB trails, no?

thats cool. my dad grew up in deep cove - by the sounds of it things looked a bit different in the 1950's (no kidding hey?). Even growing up in the 80's and 90's I remember Vancouver as a totally different place than it is now.
