Thought I'd throw this one out and see if it's even remotely true.

Heard a rumour that Dave Watson road gapped over the Tour de France riders during one of stages. The UCI is pretty pissed off apparently.

True or bullsh*t, I thought I'd share this with you guys cause I thought it was pretty hilarious and I almost pissed myself laughing so hard. Can you imagine what would be going through your mind if you were racing and saw some guy launching over the pack of riders ahead of you? I'd be pumped.

peace.

I heard Dave Watson was injured? Something about a training ride and he had a run in with a car?

I heard he launched, stacked, got arrested, and was released without charges.

If its true, Watson f*cking rules

I hope no one jumped the Tour de France, Its a huge race, and to jump over the pack of riders would be a huge black mark on all mountain bikers

There's no such thing as bad publicity.

I don't like the idea of someone DOING a stunt like that, but once it's done, I'd sure pay money for the footage!

I don't think it's true though. If somebody jumped over the largest bike race in the world, SOMEbody would have reported it.

:werd:

It would be disrespectful as hell. I don't see the humour in that.

I seriously doubt this is true. I think the guys behind that video and the riders have a lot more common sense. I don't buy it.

I also think so, if this was true I'm sure you would hear of it by now. Hell I bet CNN would have a little segment about it.

….yes, Canadian extreme cyclists who they speculate are under-cover Al-Quaida operatives in some form of urban combat training, who disguise weapons of mass destruction as "suspension forks".

Its the truth, he fell and stuff. I don't know all the details. I heard it from Armand and Dik at Kona so I'd say that there probably not b.s.'ing me.
