NSMBA AGM - November 25, 2015 8PM
So, I couldn't make the AGM….crucial question: did Mark and Lee kiss [HTML_REMOVED] make up? ;-)
The whole meeting went really well. Lots of good info. Everyone had kept their cool when I left at 11:30. All is good.

Agreed. I thought the meeting went really well. Huge turnout. I didn't realize there were close to 950 members.
170 people strong at the meeting. More BOD candidates than positions available. Only a few people being jerks about wheel size.

The AGM was generally very positive. So many super qualified people applied for the BoD it was very hard to choose (vote) for candidates and it looks like they're moving forward with a lot of interesting projects.
There were a few questions vis-a-vis the heritage fund being applied to rebuilding Pink Starfish that couldn't really be answered but hopefully will be in the future.
I really wanted to ask if they're keeping on the awesome Trail Crew of Sean [HTML_REMOVED] Pat but time was getting on, everyone was thirsty, and it's probably a decision for the next BoD?! I hope they do as the dynamic duo did great work on 7th, Pangor, etc.

It was a big agenda; Lee let the process creep along without interruption and Vince, who was re-elected, in answering a question regarding the Wood-Lau disagreement of 2015 said they were close to obtaining a solution… so I guess that means kiss [HTML_REMOVED] make out in the new year?!
Generally a very positive (and very well attended) meeting. And also Rachid was the MC, so lots of awesome…

I certainly hope so too, as they did some great work for us this year! I expect its all dependant on available funding.
