I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case.

I personally spend most of my forum time lurking. Participating in forums is often like trying to have an adult conversation with someone while six 8 year-olds are yelling their version of witty things at you.  It’s just not worth the hassle sometimes.

Have you ever been that 8 year old?

(Say yes, because otherwise it might sound like all forums suck because the participants are not as smart, cogent and eloquent as you... and as your lawyer, I strongly recommend against you going down that path).

Of course I have.

But in the aggregate, you're better than pretty much all of us, right?

Sure man.

In my opinion, it's better to narrow your net when you're calling a group of people stupid.  ie: All forum users are dumb is an untenable statement.

Whereas using the power of Science(TM)(C), all people who think the Liberal Party of Canada is awesome are in fact dumb.

Is there a New Posts button? That was my default on the old board.

Not yet. I hear ya guys though and it's the next thing I'm going to do after I redo our desktop nav.

New posts button? Been...10 months since request above. Would help get the conversation going in this quiet place. Thanks

New topics button is a bit arbitrary and I imagine goes unused as new topics are at the top of the feed...

Not too many folks still around and posting. The website is a shell of it's former self.

There has been a new posts button for months now...I use it every time I visit during a night of drunken debauchery.

"New Posts"? Hmm?

I see New Topics and it does have that function... but is labeled as something arbitrary. Fungle asked for it a year ago, might help with speeding up things around here.

Really, any little thing to help increase the functionality of this steaming pile. Especially if typing on mobile, god help us.

Right now it's like trying to start a party in Tim Hortons at 3am in here.

Make the donuts taste better is all I'm expecting. And get some 100% real maple syrup in the maple flavor goddammit. Too much to ask?!?

Seems that it is, seems that it is.

Pinkbike is awash with posts and whatnot, you name it, this forum that was once a real gold mine, a treasure trove....almost dead.

Jesus christ.  I had a mouthful of beer that almost showered my laptop.  Give me some warning next time!
