The new forum software has been in place for what? 7 months? still no way to report spam posts?

In all seriousness, let me repeat that all of your feedback is noted and appreciated. Recently, we've had to prioritize other projects such as the newsletter.
How's that newsletter coming?

It's been operational since June. I think 3 or 4 were sent out, looks like the last one was in August. You are subscribed so let us know what you think :) It's semi-automated, as in: it pulls content from the site but it's edited before it is sent out, so I guess the guys have been too busy with other things. From what I heard, click-through rates for the ones that were sent out were pretty decent.
There is also a fully automated newsletter in the pipeline that pulls from an RSS feed and will probably go out twice a week.
Not a lot of work has been done on the site in the last months I'm afraid. Both Norman and I have been busy with day jobs, life, etc. But keep reminding us.
Can you send out a note to everyone who used to post here that you're sorry and you'll do something to placate them?

Free Stickers? Lol
It's like crickets silent in here. The only reason I visit this website is for the good jokes.

Yeah, kind of like my marriage. Deader than dead.

Good thing your wife doesn't come on NSMB anymore either. ;-P

Lol.
So given that here’s only six of us left, just give us access to the site so we can implement the changes we asked for a year ago.
We won’t bill you.
It was like watching a train derailling in slow mo right at the start.
I am really sad about the slow death of this place.
Is it too late to go back to what was before?

Go ahead and fork https://github.com/ellmetha/django-machina, implement your changes, and let us know when your pull request is accepted.

The old forum software (vbulletin) was a nightmare from a maintenance p.o.v. as there were constant vulnerabilities despite Norman staying on top of updates. Keeping it was simply not an option.
