There's real estate, and then there's the culture. What about the redneck factor of moving to interior? .

its not so bad you can find culture anywhere redneck [HTML_REMOVED] otherwise if you look but educated people have to keep things going everywhere in the province and of course there are always pockets of freaks here and there

the really smart people tend to not be full of themselves like you might get down south. The PHd's I know are actualy easier to understand cuz they use really simple wording ,I see them in the bar just about every friday nite

I still didnt know anybody who smoked in PG ,it is a university town,I knew and recreated with doctors, lawyers, enginners there is a med school and xc ski area center all with folks who are there for the life style that smoke keeps posting the picts of.There was maybe one of everything in PG,I spent 11 years there and do not regret moving up there one bit.Probably most of the xc bike trails that were built or being built in PG were done by a 68 yearold doctor

at one point the kispiox valley had the highest per capita ratio of PHD's to population

Van is a sweet place to live if you are a university or college student, you can have a huge social network and there are a million things to do, its when you leave that bubble that you realize, damn, I am going nowhere because everything is so expen$ive, and really who wants to be around so many people. Like many people on this board I decided it was time to get out, before the city sucked me in forever, not an easy decision but the best one I ever made……..oh ya, stay away from Rossland, its horrible here, no fun at all :woot:

Leave all of you the interior beckons enjoy the sand and snow riding the shore is dead so leave and I'll just stay and ride alone……yeah thats it the shore is dead leave already:lol:

The raw, primitive, unrefined trails that see little to no maintenance are the kinds of trails that really build skill. What kind of skills do you learn riding a trail that was made by a machine, groomed to perfection and void of any rocks, roots or other obstacles that could send you careening over the handlebars?
