Today there were a lot of hikers and runners on Seymour doing a race called Buckin' Hell.  35km and 50km categories.  Maybe if you contacted them they could provide help with what's required to set up a race on the local mountains?

Start with some easy googles.

My plan from the beginning was for an unsanctioned uninsured ReGroup ride.

There is no way for any official event, which uses or crosses public roadways at sporadic times over 12 hours, to ever occur, so was hoping that by using the Trailforks badge app, I could create a one day event more social and real life than a Strava segment.
