that would be tough going with JH,Cove,NSSS and co-op right over the bridge.

yes it does.
i live in north burnaby, and driving over to JH and cove is a hassle, we need one on hastings or something
there should be a hole in the wall shop that sells parts and has a wicked mechanic. ive heard thats what its like at Atomic Cycles in Van.
Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.
they also call me "balloon"
YOU had a shop in NBBY,bike doctor.
It looked like a shithole but actually had great service and pricing.

isn't/wasn't there one on hastings, right near the kootenay bus loop?
That WAS bike doctor..
Pastor of Muppets
the place across the street packed it in too.
any shop in the NB area needs to be closer to willingdon than boundary to be successful
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Urban Cycle.
thanks, that's the one i was thinking of.
Urban Cycle is gone. Too bad cause Patrick and Gwyneth really knew their shit.
There's Sharpey's at Hastings and Sperling, but the times I've gone in there it seems like another world…I went in once asking to buy a couple powerbars and they'd never heard of em?
Might be the serious ESL issues that shop seems to have.
I go to Caps in New West now, they do really decent work.
I don't think it would work.
There is Sharpey's, and they don't seem to be expanding. You rarely hear anything about them or see any marketing material.
There is AKA in Port Moody, a short drive from NB. They don't seem to be booming either, same goes for Blakdog. Both great shops, but volume isn't like the North Shore shops.
I don't think the business is there for another shop.
Thanks a lot guys, keep the input coming anything you have to say helps…
Thx Jay
