Norco's Warranty?

Who knows enough about it to answer my question?

My frame is cracked a little bit around the headtube. I originally bought my bike in September 2002. I cracked the headtube on my old frame in August 2003, and thanks to a 1 year warranty, I got a new frame in September 2003. Now that this frame is cracked, do I (if they think it's warranty-able…) get warranty again? I've had it less than a year, but original purchase date was more than a year ago…

I'm kinda choked, lasted me just over 6 months, and I haven't really ridden hard in a while. My last one took a lot more of a thrashing than this one in my opinion. This one had no stairgaps or Whistler on it…

Yikes, my fork has outlasted this frame :O

What frame?

I would still think you have some warranty left in it (Aug 03 to Aug 04) if not, you should be able to get the good ol' upgrade option path. Also, are you sure its cracked and not paint?

If you call norco yourself and talk to warranty, ask for Scott. He's a good guy

2002 4hun, I'm 95% sure its a crack. It's small, but the paint doesn't crack under the headtube junction just out of the blue…

I have a cracked frame too - 02 fluid. I haven't got a replacement in hand yet but supposedly its no big deal that its over 1 year old. Just seems there might be a wait as Norco had some problems with their 04 Six frames (my supposed replacement) so stock is an issue. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and me…

you might be hoping for a crash replacement deal at this point.

If you payed to get your frame warrentyed, like crash replacment, because if you did it renews the warrenty and it starts again. That means it is one year since you got your warrenty frame. Im not certain on what happens if it was just a plain warrenty claim, my guess would be that it would be under the old warrenty

it really depends. technically norco does not have to do anything for you.

in my case, rocky warrantied an 01 frame that had been alreay warrantied off the original 00 frame that came with a 1 year warranty. so basically they helped me out 3 years after my warranty was up.
