I offered up my services to NSMBA twice. Helping design and doing the fabrication of signs for free. I can't make it to trail days very often, so it would have been my contribution. Sent two emails never received a single reply.
Yeah Our trail markings are not great. The signs are too small and don't communicate very well to newbies.
I'm sure they have it all covered since no reply was necessary.

I ride Mnt Bikes to get away from signs and to enjoy the wilderness.

Trail name signs and a small map for visitors are enough.
