This is sweet. The City of Burnaby could learn alot from the relationship between the City of Surrey and SORCE. It's amazing what community (including the muni) can do together.

This sounds like so much fun. Good work guys, and the team that's recruiting sponsors should be very proud, looks like you're doing a great job rounding up support.

hope the crew has been hitting the mini-ex hard… seemed like some love was still needed on the pro line when I went for an xc ride on monday. also chased some early teens out and gave them shit for riding over the jumps backwards. best part, their mom was sitting on the set of bleachers in front of the rental fence with the big "bike park closed" signs attached. :rawr:

Check my stuff for sale!

Lots of work done the last couple of days on the jumps! Primping and preening, raking, shoveling, watering, etc.

1 day until Dirt Jam 2011. Make sure you've set tomorrow in your calendar to come out and have some fun!

Dirt Jam 2011 was a huge success! What an amazing day. I can't thank everyone involved enough. 200+ in attendance. We had Peninsula Cycles providing a $2300 Kona Shonky, Kona showing up in force to support, along with a host of other support/prizes from Norco, Peninsula Runners, Teva, YESS, Langley BMX, and Eye of Eye. Huge thanks to Uli's for cooking 200 of the best burgers in town and Thrifty's for supply added food and drinks. Thanks to Simon and Cory for having the vision to get this going, Easy Street for building it and the City of Surrey for being a such great partner. Thanks to everyone who helped in digging, raking, watering, etc for the past month to get it all ready.

SORCE is really stoked about moving forward. We're already in planning stages with the City on next years projects!

And we're looking forward to Dirt Jam 2.0 next year.

Those burgers were so good. Didnt need no Ketchup or anything. Meat, onions, bread, done.

Jumps are great man. huge thanks to you for sure!

I'm happy to get outside and enjoy nature while I can, but I fear for the future of humanity
