When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

WTF? This is hard to believe. I still remember Kelly blowing up his Diamondback in that huge crash during Red Bull Rampage. I think it was 2 years ago. RIP.

One of my favorite riders out there. He was always so cool and approachable, and the kids loved getting high fives from him.

RIP

Unbelievable! Kelly was the nicest guy … RIP. If its any consolation, he died of a heart attack, probably doing the thing he loved the most - riding his bike on a trail. I think many of us here would be content if that too was our final moment.

Terribly sad.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

Just gutted…Such cheerfulness and happiness he emanated right thru the camera to all those who had the pleasure to have seen him. I can only hope his Family feels even a percentage of that positiveness back at them from us. Our Family's thoughts are with them :(

It sucks indeed. RIP, way to young. I may get some flame for this but I'm more surprised this doesn't happen more often, it shows how skilled they are. The risk and crashes these guys take is insane. Paul Bas and other have been so lucky. Just 2 weeks ago a kid at our ski club crashed pretty hard, it makes you think twice… Kids play safe, live to ride an other day, these are risky sports.
All the best to his family. Sorry for your loss.

there's been instances in the past of other athletes in that age range having heart troubles, Dave Cullinan had a heart attack and valve replacements done a couple years after winning the world champs more than a few years ago now…lots of young people don't think they could have heart problems so in a lot of cases they don't even know they might have issues.

There has been a few younger NHLers with heart conditions as well. One from Detroit and one from the Penguins come to mind.

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
