looks like more of the same....  if you want trails to be properly maintained on Seymour, looks like you'll need to do it yourself which won't happen...  #nodigjustride

322 votes... damn

We all voted for you Matt.  Lets hope we have not seen the last of you on the political front. You have had our back for years on the DNV Council.

Always have an open spot on Pipeline if you want to Dig with us.

We have all the best toys anyways. and extra hammocks for the kids to hang out in while we dig.

A valiant campaign   Hats off to Bond.

Jordan Back got more votes than the mayor, a hopeful sign he’ll be Back.

Only 15,032 ballots... I'm always amazed at how few people vote in municpal elections, which probably impact day-to-day life for most people more than provincial or federal elections ever do.

Yeah, poor turnout, even in other large cities.  Municipal elections and the people running just don't seem to get voters excited.

Oh well, at least things went to plan.

Congrats to Mike Little for pulling it off. Mathew sure was close.

Turnout was depressing. When Jimbo moves to RPO the Blueridge neighbourhood and the MTB community is up in arms the only question will be “did you vote?”

I think you mean the mtb, hiker, walker & dog walker communities who all use Hyannis point by car.  But the problem is also many come over the bridge to enjoy Mike’s backyard, so they can’t vote, just like you.

I am more concerned for the pigeons.  (and the implications of creating bylaws because you don't like your neighbours hobby).

The DNV (Fromme trails, bike paths) has been improving under Mike’s leadership these past years.  I guess we will very soon learn how much of that was Bonds influence.

The only way to influence it now it to get involved with advocacy.  I recently learned about US lobby interests and how big business can affect government policy.

Only hope now is to send emails to the other councilor's to oppose Jim's RPO. If they vote against it, Jim will be unsuccessful.
