It was only a few years ago ('02?) that Jordie put in one the best WC results for a Canadian in recent memory. I think he had a couple of top tens if I recall.

Wow, based on video evidence I always thought he was more of a one trick pony (jumps). I was way off.

Hey Guys

Craig..AKA Skippy here…I am the product manager over at Jamis and I also do sponsorship. And it is true that we signed Jordie a few weeks ago. I have known Jordie for years, I was his Team Manager when he raced for the SunRace/Santa Cruz Team, that was the same year he got, I think a 5th at the Grouse World Cup. Dont quote me on that but I think it was a 5th. He is a great racer, a great freerider, jumper and test rider.

He goes out of his way to make his sponsors happy and goes the extra mile to test and develop. Jordie is going to be very instramental in the NEW development of our new gravity program. We have a lot of momentum going right now, the bikes are working and selling great and we are jazzed to have Jordie in our corner!

thanks for any and all input !

Skippy

Obviously there is a lack of respect on this board or some people are just stupid.

well jamis still needs to break into our market and they need a guy who does coaching and is able switch quickly to a new brand and push them into not just adverting an unproven bike but helping them improve it.

he rode for santa cruz for many years before switchin up so much. hopefully this company will provide what he needs in a company. and he comes from parksville not nanaimo, i would hope that company would figure that out before they make a news release…its not like hes moved from the compound beside the tracks

and yes he was quite the speedster not just in dh but in xc…beating the best in the highschool xc series and also dominating in dh in canada, wc and world champs

here to ride but i'm to busy building

Whatever happend to Dustin Adams? Wasn't that guy like the greatest Canadian downhiller who ever lived? Why didn't Jamis sign him instead?
