Hey all, as I have based most of my riding in Vic and sooke, I have not really been up island. What shops areup island, also are there any shops on the little islands? When I get the bike build I would love to check out some of the local riding, I hear gold river is amazing….but what other places would you recomend hitting?

OakBay bikes and Chain Chain Chain would be the best in vic. Courtenay has lots of good shops. None of the shops there suck.

stuff for sale:
Dainese upper body suit, size medium, brand new and never worn $200

Russ Hayes has the best inventory of bikes and parts but they know nothing about bikes haha. Their mechanics suck ass. My friend got his yearly free tuneup and they charged him $50 for it. Also, when my brother was making the chainguides, he sold one to a kid and he took it to Russ Hayes to put it on. They took his bike upstairs, came down 20 minutes later and said it cant be put on haha. The kid took it to my brother and he put it on in lke 5 mins.
I personally hate bike shops. They are all cocksuckers. I usually buy parts online and do my repairs myself.

Im black on the inside.
FYI: Im blacker than black.

Yeah russ hays and riders has the most inventory. Have you seen the basement in riders….so much outdated stock its not funny. They should have a huge sale and get rid of that overhead, but what do I know eh. The guys at north park are pretty cool too. I used to be a huge fan of westshore bikes..but I went in there when I moved back and just did not feel it….oh well. Lorien is rocking it out in sooke…great little shop out there, stop by if you are riding that neck of the woods.
