New Year's Eve day I rode Severed and it was so good I went back up and did Pangor. Part way down Pangor though I found a small skating rink. Had to walk through the the bushes to get past the ice. Then I got hit that night with the stomach flu. Just started eating today.

SFU for a power lap and i bested my time by an insane amount. So sticky and rolling so fast. It felt like the trail was paved at times so smooth.

Ladies was phenomenal today. It honestly couldn't have been better. I didn't think I'd be having one of my best rides of the season in January :)

It's a pretty regular occurrence actually; cold dry conditions that are perfect for riding in January. Love it.

Fromme was amazing today. Seymour was a bit crunchy/icy in parts over the past couple of days, but still beautiful.

Yes, it definitely seems like it needs to be warmed up at the beginning of ride. After a few drops, everything was fine.

Squamish was awesome today. Amazing how grippy ice and frost are!

My fork and shock felt pretty firm. I guess the oil would be quite a bit thicker in the cold temps. The tread on my tires was hard until I got going for a bit.

such sweet traction! Anyone out on Seymour late Sunday? at first, i thought it was orange spray paint on the trail…it was the late afternoon sun coming through the trees! Outstanding ride.

These conditions have me blasting stuff at higher speeds than I have since getting my new bike in the fall, and I've bottomed it a whole bunch of times this week. The extra firmness is appreciated!

Too tacky actually. Was up on Seymour on Sunday and my tires were picking up dirt and small rocks to the point where I was worried about rocks jamming between the tire and frame.

The whole powerline area looked amazing with 1/2 inch thick ice crystals on the trees and bushes. The grip through-out was unbeatable.

Not at all. Actually the opposite like meaybe the wipers are cold and hard and slide better? Or the cold shrinks them and they pull away a tiny bit so the fork is more smooth? Or more likely it's all in my head.

Sometimes the cable magic lube in my shift cables gets thick and shifting slows. The KS seatpost after a recent cleanup and regrease is super slow.
