Now..check this out. http://www.mbuk.com/masterclass.asp
How come that nobody has the idea of trying this on their own…i mean a lot of riding technique necessary for this can be learnt from "ordinary" freeriding - is this more like "freeriding for the conservative xc crew"? Or rather helping the novice to not hurt himself badly…?

where's the last 'helter skelter' you rode on the shore??? I think we're going to have to build one of these things so that we get up to par on North Shore riding.

One of the many reasons as to why I stopped reading that mag. Dirt will always be the best of the brits.

Guys your falling behind in the tech, first the hamster wheel in the swiss alps now no helter skelters. Pfft.

The reason is cause there is limited space on some of the gb parks, so to conserve space they make the helter skelters, they are really the same as the big platforms that exsist with jumps or roll off line choices. Be thankful you have the space

i thought that wheelie drops are like a pedal kick drop, and are pretty much always to flat, it's like a trials move, and it's usually from a complete standstill. i ride with oldskool guys and have always seen them land rear wheel first, then the front.

as for the helter skelter, there's a double one on harper in kamloops i think, but apart from the woodlot one that's the only other one i've seen.

Well if it works for you, then rock it man. For me it's too juvenille, and Dirt is much more in tune for me.
