I got this by email - scam or good?

Hello good sir.

I am writing this letter to confirm the receipt and acceptance of the invitation to ride the Sun Shine Coast on September 23, 2007.

I will commence to load my bike and gear into my car on the morning of the date in question and will proceed to the pre-determined location in

a timely fashion.

Upon arrival, my goods will be transferred to the designated drivers automobile which then will be driven to the British Columbia Ferries for the voyage

on the Pacific Ocean.

Once unloaded from the vessel, we shall commence to ride bikes of the mountain variety for many long hours, only to be interrupted for the consumption of

food and liquids.

If the above terms are acceptable, I look forward to September 23rd.

I agree with newgirl. Make sure you tell us what happens if you meet him.

Could be :germany:, couldn't he? In case he is, no scam, since a lot of germans are aware that they are said to appear rude in English.

Maybe he thought that way and just wanted to make sure that you get the right impression? Anyways, long story short…let us know.

Might I pose the obvious question everyone forgot to ask:

Did you extend said invitation to the aforementioned grammatically endowed foreigner that subsequently accepted said invitation that you may/may not have sent?

If not, there is your answer.
