My first though was how a cut tree can upright itself and crush anything under the roots.

Circuit 8 and Juryn clear but lots of small stuff
Oops forgot about this.

My second thought was that there wasn't a chainsaw anywhere near this.

I think you might be confused ..
That is my wife standing in a 3 ft deep hole made when the 4 ft diameter tree fell and the rootball ripped up the trail and made the hole.

Nope, he's not confused. If that tree (for whatever reason, most likely a chainsaw though) cracked and lost weight off its top, there's a possibility of the rootball dropping back into the hole. Stranger things have happened - I (me, personally) wouldn't stand in a fresh fall like that.

Where exactly is this? I took my daughters for a hike on the BP trail this afternoon from Pipeline Bridge to Lillooet road, and didn't see anything like that.

7th, Ladies, Big Stupid and Lower Ladies all good to go.

Beware the left hand ladder drop on Big Stupid though; one of the supports has broken free of the stump and the structure is a bit wobbly.

The crater drop landing was full of blowdown,. I cleared it…maybe I'm the only one that does that little drop anymore…:???:

Some big trees down in Princess Park in a couple sections right near the exit to the trail under the power lines (for anyone who uses that route as a ride out). Needs a bit of hike a bike under and over, so still passable.
