Anyone have intel on Vedder? I have some friends that want to do a shuttle day, but I'm not overly familiar with the trails and what little trailforks reports that are up look dicey at the moment. I don't want to commit if it's going to suck.

I was out in the Valley near Vedder last weekend and was surprised to see quite a bit of snow in the fields (it was so foggy, I couldn't see Sumas or Vedder) but the snow seemed slower to melt out than the shore so good call to make some enquiries...

Thanks. A friend of a friend is currently riding lower Vedder trails, which are apparently fine, but anything of shuttle value aren't worth it at the moment  due to snow.

Fromme has a decent amount of snow before expresso, enough that you will likely have to walk the last switchback. I doubt anything higher is worth it right now.

Yeah, snow on the road starting around Ladies. A couple of trees across the road. Top half of expresso had lots of snow yesterday and one tree down. Lower half is good to go.

This stretch of weather has been great. Ridden more in the last 10 days than I did in all of Nov/Dec.

Fromme on Friday was fine up to Leppard. There was a little dusting on the road. Generally everything has hard and dry.
