Bring it on. The more snow rides, the better.

Anyone been up lately? I was up riding my gravel bike in the British properties last week and there was no white stuff anywhere i could see. Anyone seen anything on the trails lately?

Light snow at the Mushroom lot on Seymour, nothing of consequence on the trails. However, depending on TOD when you're riding things will be slick.

Did a couple laps of Bear and Red this morning, snow starts at mid mountain, mostly an inch or two of slush. Was a good ride, roots are certainly lookin to get you though.

All this rain is starting to take a toll though.

Just bumping this thread now that the snow in the city is gone thanks to this huge rainfall. The freezing level has gone way up over 2000m which sucks for Cypress and Whistler. But might be good for riding as we're expecting dryish conditions for the next few days.

Was out a couple days ago and it was horribly slippery.  Hopefully this deluge will get rid of the packed ice.

The best trailforks update I could scavenge today was for Lower Expresso, reported yesterday. The top is still iced covering most of the trail, and dirt showing up for some lower parts. That runs from 420m to 360m elevation, for reference. I was really hoping for some lower laps by Friday night, so crossing all fingers and toes.

Think the lower Breamar trails should be clear by then at this rate. Although they will be so wet

Yeah, hoping there are some Seymour updates in the next day. Lower JD starts at 400m, so that would make a couple nice hard tail up/downs with the climb trail.

Sounds like today, the first dry day in a while should be spent on a road rip and maybe a little gravel to get me to dust off all my gear and see if I can chip away at this imposter syndrome. Let the hills drain a bit and maybe ride trails Friday or Saturday.
