Seymour was clear yesterday....at least as high as Ned's where there was a bit of remnant slush in the open area before the downhill.

Very small snow patches starting at 600m (same as the top of expresso) almost everything should be good to go.

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

pingu/pango was fabulous on tuesday, frozen dirt, dry woodwork, no ice.

ned's was excellent today, though a half dozen places open water had frozen into ice ... very slippery, but also very visible, and easy to avoid. baden powell and john deer was in perfect condition.

get it while its great, precipitation is coming.

Anyone know how low the snow is on Eagle? Should be mostly ok I'd imagine since it's mostly tree covered.

Not sure where else to post this, and not really worth it's own thread but I took my little guy on his first snow rides the past couple days :)

Edit - also the snow at the top of Seymour is about 3-4 inches on Corkscrew, gradually getting less and less on the way down. Very slippery today.

Best bike videos I've seen in months. Your kid is having an absolute blast! I assume he is hooked?

Rode Fromme last night.  Some snow on Mountain Highway as you climb past the parking lot, but nothing to keep you from climbing beyond Bobsled. We got to the 3rd switchback  and decided to keep going to the 5th. There was some snow, but two clear tracks that took you pretty much right to the 5th. Crinkum had some snow and some slick parts in the rocky corners....but mostly a nice single track down the middle and still ride-able without having to outrigger a leg. Kirkford still had some snow as well....thought it would have been clear....but nothing that'll get you off your bike. Bobsled and Natural High were totally clear.

Thanks guys, it has been a lot of fun getting him out in to the woods more. He loves it so much and I am so lucky that I get to spend that time with him doing something we both enjoy. I love it :)

Snowline starts around the top of Ned's. Corkscrew is good to go.

Mountain Highway was mostly clear last night (except for the usual switchbacks...but they are ride-able). First 200 m of Expresso was a bit slick in spots, but otherwise everything below there is in great shape.

The lower yellow gate was closed this afternoon "due to winter conditions".

Rode Fromme a few days ago. Leppard was almost all snow/slush but lower half had a clear path in the middle of the trail. All clear starting at Kirkford.

Fromme update:

As of yesterday at 4pm there were snowy patches at the switchbacks on Mtn Hwy (starting around the 3rd IIRC) but it was all pretty much climbable. Snowy / slushy around Leppard and mostly bare on Crinkum and below.
