alright, so i subscribe to Mountain Bike magazine. btw - the new deal with them and Bicycling sure is nice :cool:

in the latest issue of Mountain Bike (march 2003) there's a write up on darren barrecloth. one of his listed sponsors is .243 racing. but on the specs list for his bike, in the areas where .243 makes products, none of the products he uses are .243

(ex: stem: raceface; handlebar: raceface; seat: SDG)

is this a typo? in the picture of him, he isn't wearing any .243 clothing either.

if anyone knows (maybe FOX??), it'd be interesting to hear about it.

243 site says he has their frame, shitty though, i wish 243 picked him up, id shat my pants if they did, but hes gonna be a big player so 243 might not be able to cope with his big need,….yet:)

he may have another frame, from .243, but the article makes no mention of hardtails other than his BMX background. i'll take a picture, host it, and put it up - some of its kind of interesting.

just to let you guys know, they finalize the writing for magazines months before they come out. in reality, the march issue is really november 2002 or something like that. they allow a few months to print and edit and distribute. when the article was written 5 months ago berrecloth was riding a .243.

michael - yep, i signed up for websamba. i (for the most part) have the ftp figured out.

if anyone needs hosting (other than videos), i can do it for ya. i don't know the code to write for videos, or i'd be willing to host them too.
