I hope you all realize that Seymour was a dumping ground for bodies.

It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.

I once found two plastic totes sealed and in the ground on Seymour. Was expecting to find body parts but they were full of car parts and personal items. People do the oddest shit.

Life is like riding a bicycle – in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.

I once watched the oddest light over Cypress (right at dusk) zig zag back and forth then quickly move vertical. Come to a complete stop and then zip off at a ridiculous speed at a 45 degree angle upward. As the light moved out over the Georgia Straight I realized I was staring at one of the commuter Jet Helicopters doing the evening run from Vancouver to Victoria.

Closest thing to a UFO I've ever seen.

True Story.

I'm still haunted by the experience of bumping into a trail runner on the upper half of Old Buck. She was crouched on the side of the trail in full view, apparently taking a dump.

I heard a meek "Sorry" as I rode by.

So dogs aren't always to blame for those turds on the side of the trail.

Not a hippie, more like die-hard trail runner.
