Not sure where this is going; it will be interesting to hear exactly what they’re doing:

Perhaps that's part of the reason they (I think it was Grouse Mtn.) said they didn't want any bikers going up past the 7th switchback on Fromme?

Awesome. Thats a big lap right there. Top of Grouse down to lower Fromme trails then back up on the cable car!

This could be the first step towards more access up there. It's incredible to me that we have so many mountains and so little connectivity between them.

First to point out they're renting pedal assist bikes to tourists on two private trails

Maybe they'll recycle (pardon the pun) the UCI courses from 2002/2003?

Other than ski runs, all I can think of for scenic trails up there is riding up to the wind turbine, or out towards Dam mountain.

There is a sign above the 7th for them to turn around.  Hope they aren't too adventurous and drop into the seriously steep old stuff on that side...or maybe they are given NSR business card with the rental hahaha

Way back in the mists of time, a friend and I rode our dirt bikes from the top of Mtn Highway all the way up to the Cut...keeping that in mind, I had a thought to carry my MTB up to the top of the Grind, and then ride down into some of the Fromme trails.

Anyone ever done that?  Is there still a connection?  Does/will Grouse frown upon that?  Do it anyway, and beg forgiveness if caught?

I've run up Mountain Highway to Grouse, and I think I recall seeing a "No Bikes, Turn Around" sign as you approach the bottom of the ski runs. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure a friend has biked all the way up to the Chalet, but that was several years ago.

A few years back my tri-fiend friend rode from the drive base of Mtn Highway (near Cove Bikes) all the way to the Eye of the Wind on Grouse. No one stopped him but there were a lot of odd looks.

You can bike right to the Gondola/lodge, have a beer. Have done it a couple times and no one has said anything.

Apparently they are building a bunch of ebike trails up there now? I saw some pics online of poorly constructed berms anyway.

Back in the day I used to bike up to the resort for fun solo or with my gf. Novelty I guess.  Views are nice. I remember we'd session one weird slab at the top. I dunno, it was when biking for me was limited to doing one big long descent and being utterly shattered after.
