Found this on Reddit. Thoughts? I think it’s a bit much, considering how few trails they have.
Grouse Mountain prices & trail map revealed
That is a lot of money for 5-6 trails IMO.

how much elevation is that?
The Cut ski run, a straight line next to the lift is 201 m descent and 1.1 km long according to Trailforks.

You aint kidding.
95 dollars for 3-4 trails? Ouch.
You'd think they'd go soft on the pricing until the network is full up but I guess it they realized it does not matter if your goal is to sell to Vancouver intermediates with disposable income but no awareness to spare - they simply won't know better.
Is that the Bank of Canada Rock Jump Line?
For comparison, Sun Peaks bike park season passes (on the earlybird rate) are only $79 dollars more, day tickets aren't announced yet but will likely be in the realm of 80-100.... and you quite a bit more.

I will do that exactly once.
I wonder if we'll see people on ebikes in the lift lines?

given the gondy ticket alone is ~$82, guess they couldn't really price much lower? still.
Pricing seems consistent with some of the comments made in the past, that this is intended to be more of a mountain-bike-themed tourist attraction, than a local bike park.
Disappointing, but not unexpected I guess.
Maybe the pricing model will evolve.
Also maybe the pricing is high precisely because they only have a few trails. If it was 20 bucks it'd be too crowded? Not enough places for riders to disperse across?
$74 buys a lot of gas for Cypress shuttles....
But as others have said, I doubt they care if the locals use it or not.

I was thinking that too. Especially x3 or 4 people. Heck at that point you could almost strike a deal with an Uber driver with a hitch on their vehicle and nobody would have to take turns driving. Haha.
That said a few years back I vaguely recall getting some type of "local" family pass for grouse that was way cheaper, you had to show proof of address to get the deal. This was 6 or 7 years ago though and I can't remember the details. But, some type of season rate for people/families in the metro Van area would sorta redeem this, but I don't get the sense it's a priority.

Wait, is that going to be an additional charge on top of the lift pass for the bike park, or will they let you ride the gondola up with your bike if you just tell them you're going to be riding the bike park?
I dono what I expected but it sems like a lot

You will not need to purchase two passes, but it is funny a BC resident with a bike may ride the Gondola as many times as they please for a few dollars less than somebody who just wants to go sightseeing. The "you should have hiked this" tourist tax?
