It is indeed an On-one Summer Season. It is a great bike. I find that it is compliant enough to take the pain out of riding, but of course 23 PSI in the tires helps to.
The Bike is a ton-o-fun and I have been riding it pretty hard this year. My Element MSL70 was out of commission from June though November with some warranty items. As a result I rode the HT a lot.
If I had to choose just one bike, I would be happy enough with that HT.
I can easily ride everything I normally ride on my Intense SS, including the steeper chundery stuff. Obviously it is a little rougher, but it is capable. The bike as pictured is about 28lbs last I checked. The only change I would make is to add a gravity dropper or KS Lev.

KL, I'm pretty sure that frame weighs 28 lbs so it looks like you forgot to add the rest of the parts to the total!:S

I used your scale to weight it. It may be heavier with the big HR2 tires.
Not nearly as light as your SC Highball, that is for sure!

His bike and mine (the Ragley) are really similar in weight, and mine is just a touch under 28.5 with the Gravity Dropper. Like Leggatt, if I had to choose one bike, then the Hardtail would not be a bad choice.
