These boards are a total cesspool.
The terms of use and Rules for the NSMB bulletin boards are broken on a regular basis.
The top 5 especially so.
1.Pornographic or obscene images and text.
2.Excessive or inappropriate language/profanity.
3.Racist images or text.
4.Homophobic images or text.
5.Serious threats of physical violence or mental duress.It used to be a great place to share information on trail building, organizing rides, charity events for funding trail building and an overall great online place to hang out.
But as long as the clicks and traffic are flowing…

I also think that it is a fair outcome. Im pleased that she avoided anything that looked like jail but also that she now has a criminal record that will follow her. Seems appropriate.
If she had of used the claim that she was using the logs and debris to prevent people from standing in spots used by awesome enduro descenders, she may have had a better outcome.
People issuing threats (if true) discredits everyone who has worked hard to get mountain biking to where it is on the Shore and tarnishes the entire MTB community. You are a disgrace.

Have Gord and Shaun been compensated for the camera gear they purchased? I know there was an online donation that happened, but I never heard if they got the full amount covered. Awesome work guys!

He claims death threats. If this were true, there would be an investigation.
He stated a few times that she placed "sticks" on the trail.
He has a client that has admitted guilt only because of irrefutable evidence.
He is skewing or creating facts to try and reduce the sentence, and he is not ignorant of the actual facts.
If the legal society wants to be appreciated, they should look into this type of legal representation.
I hope the NSMBA writes a letter to the news agencies to refute his slanderous claims.

Purchase a Membership or a Trail Pass, or the maps supported by the local area where you happen to be riding at.
We rec'd $500 ish back last year. I sold a camera as well. We did this for the community on the Shore. When you are in a position to help some thing or some cause in the future… give back then.
