Thanks Dave. Fixing drainage is important but not the most exciting ... the trail maintenance equivalent of flossing.

I've never done a lot of trail work but during the winter I try to make a point of stopping at least 2 times or so to clear drains on every ride. Fixing drainage is one of those things that is satisfying long term and short term since most of the time you can clear a drain and watch that area of trail start draining instantly.

And I always talk about it, not to brag but to broaden awareness so hopefully more people do the same. Such a small simple thing can make a huge positive impact on the trail and it only takes like 2 minutes to do.
