Also the aussie season runs through the winter ie. October-March so some aussies run both. There are a lot of siblings in the brit racing so it can get confusing, also lots of the young riders are in the royal racing stable so get all the same kit which doesnt help things, but woo Brits
the other big name event on the weekend was the US open…
i like how they put it on the same weekend as a world cup so that most aussies wont be racing, and americans still didint win…

Actually the US Open is on the same weekend every year. It was a great time racing, Even though Kirkaldie beat me by a minute and a half:scream: And seeing Havukainen crash toward the end of the course was a bummer.

Sams gona win the series he keeps geting faster. he had a huge lead in this win. Also huge props to Luke Strobel geting 5th at the open! The kid kills it watch for him geting alot faster in the next couple years.

there has been 4 riders who grew up racing against each other in my local area. there has been 4 guys the same age it seems that one has discoverd alcohol so we shall forget about him. these are my picks for the next couple of years..

a 16 year old riding for cannondale / the cut in america… first season overseas… (recent results is 12th first norba and 36th in us open)
Ben Bell, a 16 year old riding for yeti in america. australian under 19 champ. (65th qualifier at us open)
mitchell delfs, a 16 year old riding for manitou / shimano in america… when hes on it, can corner like sam… qualified 67th at the us open
these 3 names have the skills to be dominent in racing downhill in the future…
