I can see it from my office window right now. Looks to be above Seventh but not sure.

i was up there this afternoon . rode up from the water towers with a buddy about 430.
we climbed up to the gravel pit and chatted with a freind who is one of the pilots .
fire was at the lookout/fire pit on the old road off the 6th switchback.

Some douchebag mouth breather must have thought that it would be awesome to have a fire.

Grouse mt was on full alert , all the snow cannons/fans are spraying water on cut , side cut , and various areas up top.

we climbed up to misquito corner and watched the three copters for a bit. there was a ground crew that went in too.

its dry out there, pull yer heads out your asses , and leave the matches at home.

fire trucks and district vehicles just coming down as we were heading up mtn highway around 10 this am.

Was up there this morning. There was a water pump truck with hoses running into the bush and a forest fire guy with all the equipment getting packed up into a pickup truck.
He said someone had cut down a bunch of trees at the lookout and then set on fire. Said possibly someone was trying to build a structure there as well or something.
The pickup and water pump truck started going down around 1pm.
There was helicopters flying very low over head as well.

but the ride was good.
rode seventh, espresso, lower ladies. saw digger and chatted for 30 minutes.
was an awesome day :)

Which lookout are you guys referring to? Which side road? The one that new brew is on, or the one past 7th secret?, or the one at the end of the 7th switchback??
