This guy was an inspiration to me when I was racing xc. He's a humble guy who just went out and performed well every time and outlasted everyone else while riding for sponsors that knew a good thing when they saw one. He is cut from the same cloth as Ned Overend and like him I suspect that while he is officially retired, he will continue on in some way in the industry (and will likely reinvent himself as Ned did with Exterra.
