The S.F. Chron has many angry comments actually SUPPORTING his behavior! (several which were deleted discussing stringing 'fishing wire' up at neck level to take out bikers!) He's a dangerous guy and sadly, I bet he won't do much time for this, but one can hope.
Thats one of the scariest things to me. My little bro hit a cable that was hung across a trail head. Luckily he was short enough it just hit his helmet and he made it under without injury.
