Heckler, Ducati and Knnn - you are awesome. I wish I could be there this weekend.

Josh, nobody mentioned this but the benefit of bringing a bike is that you don't have to wait around in the (sometimes) cold and wet waiting for a ride up the hill, and you get the glory of guinea pigging everything.

Its only glory if you are good. If I fuck it up, it wouldn't reflect anything on the trail :P

I think of you when I wake up on Sunday with a massive hangover. :D

Ah well, after making almost every trail day last year I yet again am missing this one due to events beyond my control. That's every trail day this year so far.

Much rather be out on the mountain tomorrow than sitting at home recovering from losing my wisdom teeth. Gah.

FANTASTIC work ladies and lads.

I don't think I have ever seen a trail completely transform in one day like that.

And everyone seemed to be having a great time to boot.

Rock in the trannie-what a monster!

Check out the qualitly of that rockwork. Barker representin'

Good to see a couple of young fellas helping out. We built a bridge.

Heckler checks out a new line.

Another sweet little bridge that got put in by the Bunnies and a few others.

Thanks to Steed for the lunch, much appreciated.

Eric tests one of the new drops. Vid taken by a passing pirate

Nice photos Straya!

A big thanks to everyone that came out today. Everything that we had planned and then some got accomplished. All the bridge work turned out fantastic, and the jumps look smoooth. I can't wait till next weekend, when I'm not wrecked, so I can hit everything.

The trail looked awesome on my way out. I can't wait till next year, when I'm not pregnant, so I can see if I remember how to ride there. ;)

Here are some of my snaps, looking forward to seeing Jen's

It all started with a Big Pile of Rocks at the entrance (thanks to the District):

Some of the rocks were used to do this:

And this, a new beginner entrance:

This was the old line, but it got braided around after the tree fell:

The old line was restored and improved with a little more flow:

The first of a series of four small jumps gets some attention:

The end result being enjoyed:

The second of the small jumps needed some re-enforcement and a big assed rock moved on the tranny (see left side), so who are you going to call, well Crofty and Co (see other photos posted by Straya):

And ended up like this:

Entrance to third jump, before:

Entrance to third jump, after:

The tranny on the third jump before the trail fairies got to it:

Finished tranny on the third jump, looking pretty smooth:

Rob to Karen, hmmm I think we should put a bridge right here:

Voila! A new bridge is born:

Oh and another one:

Oh my, another bridge, this one with a sweat little kicker:

A roll between two old stumps needed some attention (awww, look a mud bunny!):

The end result:

A motley but pretty happy crew (thanks for coming out everyone):

The amount of work that was done today was staggering. This trail must be one of the best little beginner/intermediate jump trails on the north shore.

Thanks to Steed for keeping the unwashed feed and stoked for more in the afternoon.

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
