The snow on Expresso was nicely frozen and grippy today, even for non-fat/plus tires. Lower on Fromme the popular hiking trails have a fair bit of ice.

Something like that would be good if you are in the immediate area. Can't see driving an hour to ride indoor.

Wait, just linked to their facebook page and got a better view of the setup. Quite impressive !!!

I am not a jumper, but something like that with some coaching, might get my wheels off the ground.

I would have been there several times this winter already.

Has anyone heard reports from Bellingham? I just drove through on the way to Seattle and there was no snow on the ground. It also looked bare on the hillsides.

South Galbraith in Bellingham is mint right now. Grab your Nexus card and go!

The south side of Galbraith is 99% snow free and running awesome. (I didn't go on the north side but I imagine most trails there that are in the forest like SST would also be alright but with more snow patches). Pretty much the only significant mud of any kind is on the new access trail at the end of Galbraith Lane. (Apparently some %*$#! decided to put a gate across the old access road that turned right off Galbraith Lane. The rumor is he is a mountain biker as well so there are some hard feelings locally over the whole thing.)

Was at watershed today. Not really ideal conditions, lots of slush and ice on most of the trails. Was pretty warm when i left and things were clearing up so it may decent tomorrow.
