Rode Hornby today and it was epic! No snow at all on the trails and fast frozen dirt. It may have the best trail conditions in the Province right now.

Apparently Hammerfest is good to go in the trees.

Duncan is rideable but Tzouhalem and Maple have snow up high. Prevost is a no go.

Hartland and Partridge Hills are in good shape as well but have snow up high as well.

Ran Quary rock a couple times over the weekend and it was all clear as far as I could see up the hill so Id think anything coming down from indian arm rd would be ridable.

FWIW I was out fat biking this weekend and the trails below coconut were deep in some spots. Still ride-able since hikers are mashing down the snow but not so sure on skinny mtb tires.

Good excuse to pick up a fat bike!

Was in Powell River over the holidays. Trails were minty.

I'm feeling ya. Valley is all snow and ice on the hills for the most part. Considering the sad lack of hero dirt days in the past three months, i'm seriously thinking of making a run down south for a week. Took a gander at moab and virgin weather, but it's as cold as here. Anyone got some suggestions for warm(ish) go to spots worth a 6-7 day road trip? North/central california but away from the masses? somewhere else?

I'm in st George atm. Great conditions and temp. Was in Vegas, Sedona, laguna Beach before this. All we good.

We're quite comfortable sleeping in the car.

Richard Juryn trail totally ridable. Not dirt, but enough traction to pedal up it. Nice to spin the wheels a bit.

If its starts to warm up its going to turn into a mess real quick. The difference from the beginning of the week to today was quite considerable.

Pray for rain low down.

Looks like warm rain for a few days early next week. Gonna get real messy I bet.

Went out to Delta Watershed on the weekend. A few patches of snow, but for the most part everything was in great shape. There are also a few new tight twisty trails that are fun to try and get through with as much speed as possible.

Was good fun to get out and the bike again.

This will definitely help.
