Dirt Bikes Cruising up Mtn Highway (past gate)

Saw two guys going up on dirt bikes going up mtn highway (both gates were closed when I had gone past) They passed me on the 3rd switch back at 6:50 today. I've been seeing a little more motor cycle traffic on the gravel road lately and I know there's a couple cabins up on grouse but these two guys looked like they were just going for a spin. Weren't tearing up the road or anything but I noted down one of their plates anyways. Should I be concerned and pass the info on or just let it be? =/

I am not sure what you could do about a plated bike any how? It is not like the road is closed to the public. Just basically closed to cars. But, who ever controls the gate may not dig it, im not sure.

Assuming the riders were recreational fuck 'em. Report them. A few years ago there was a summer of massively fat little fuckers riding mini motos or whatever the fuck they're called braaping up and down mountain highway in the forest after school hours. Hateful noisey little shits. Fuck 'em, I'm glad they went away. I hope they all experienced speed wobble tankslapping nirvana on an epic run to Honey's donuts in Deep Cove. Like Quadrophenia without the music, pretty girls, amphetamines or existential angst.

They were pretty respectful and gave a wave as they cruised by. I rode up to seventh and was keeping an eye out for gravel sprayed everywhere but didn't see any. I shall leave em be :)

I have grown up on the Shore, Until the mid Eighties we were able to drive up Mountain Highway, no gates, Mountain Bikers do not have exclusive rights to that road. If it was me i would leave them be unless you see them ripping up trails, who gives a shit.
