Planning a little trippy-poo and was hoping to get some suggestions on some DH areas/towns down through worshington and oregon.
Shuttling is our bread and butter, but we'll pedal a bit too.
None of us have ever ridden down that way so we are pretty fired up!

Hood River, but you'll earn most of your turns.
I haven't ridden any real DH down there, but there are some Enduro type trails. Check out the Alpine trail in Oakridge and Lookout Mountain in the Ochocos outside Bend. Both have a pedal up before the descent and climbs on the way down, but they're both great trails. There are other shuttle trails in Oakridge, but I haven't ridden them.

Galbraith just South of Bellingham is a good one - pedal up, rip down. Ask at Fanatyk bike shop if you need directions.
If you are in for a bit of novelty and quality flowy jump trails (short but highly session-able) try Duthie Park in Issaquah.
I hear lots of good stuff about Hood River, but I've never been myself.
Second Galbraith, that's the mountain that got me hooked on riding one sunny February afternoon when I went looking for a vacation from the rigs… it's a great mountain with a good vibe below it. Ask around, there's some fun illegal trails too.

go to oakridge, just did a few days there, and a couple in bend….Oakridge is sick, Hardesty is one of the best descents I've done in a long time, an hour of chest high ferns, fast, long, flowy descent, and huge trees with a ribbon of loam running through clover patches, oh man, it was so good….we climbed to it (3500ft), but it's an easy shuttle for most of it followed by 45 min of climbing to get to the start of the descent. There's a bunch of trails like it there too. You could also get shuttled by Oregon Adventures and can all ride together. Definitely trail/am bike territory though, dh bike would likely be overkill, although I'm sure you could make it work. will post a few pics after I get them edited
