I feel for his family if its true, but in reality, people die doing anything! Whether it be biking or shopping in the convenience store im sure someones died.

It was a couple days ago, I read about it in the Vancouver Sun, but this was when he was just injured, not dead :(

It didn't say if he was on the mountain, or on a street (I don't know anything about the layout) but it said "he was going at a high speed, when all of a sudden, his front wheel stopped. Witnesses called an ambulance. It may have been the terrain, or the speed he was travelling at" Or something along those lines.

Terrain makes you think it was on a trail, but numerous witnesses, makes you think urban setting, and travelling a high speed. I dunno if it was on the trail.

Best wishes to his family.

we should close down all the grass fields. They seem dangerous.

That's harsh. Only 14-years old and he dies due to what sounds like a freak accident on a grass hill. My condolences go out to his family.:(
